Visa Support

Visitors from countries that do not have diplomatic relations with Japan, or that are not covered by Japan's visa exemption arrangements, must obtain an entry visa before traveling to Japan. Participants are encouraged to check the visa requirements well in advance by visiting the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

If you require official documents issued by the university for your visa application, such as an invitation letter, please contact the organizers at fambi.imr@grp.tohoku.ac.jp by Aug 31, 2026 (JST). Please note that this visa support deadline is earlier than the registration deadline.
